Migrant-led, faith-based civil society organisations strive to enhance the protection of migrant workers in Central and South America.
To ensure a safer, fairer working life for migrant workers, we are supporting a three-year programme to improve conditions in the two most important migration corridors of the Americas – Mexico-Central America and Intra-regional Central America – and in two key destination countries, Brazil and Chile.
Our partners' work focuses on improving migration laws in Brazil and Chile and increasing the liability of corporations for labour violations committed during the recruitment process in all corridors and countries where we are active.
We also aim to increase the influence of migrant-led and faith-based organisations by encouraging transnational cooperation between them and other civil society organisations.
