By evaluating our programme in Southeast Asia, we aim to learn what works and how we can be more effective.
Our anti-trafficking programme in Asia aims to create systemic disruptions to human trafficking in Southeast Asia through private sector engagement and access to justice.
Launched in 2017, over the last four years the programme has worked with over 16 organisations in five different countries that focus on reducing the occurrence of human trafficking across Asia. The focus countries in the programme included Cambodia, Hong Kong SAR (China), Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.
The programme was one of Porticus Asia’s first multi-project programmes, and our first programme in the area of human trafficking. To ensure that our work is having impact and that we are focused on the right interventions, we asked Lighthouse Partnerships to conduct an independent evaluation of the programme.
Through a thorough evaluation process and interviews with our partners and other stakeholders, Lighthouse Partnerships presented 4 key recommendations to improve the impact of our programme.
